Profile	I first started playing the trumpet at the age of 11 and taught myself for the first year. As my mother had already endured 5 years of me screeching on the violin she quickly bought me a silent mute for the trumpet! Throughout High School I played in various ensembles including Midlothian Youth Jazz Band and Orchestra. The trumpet was my first instrument for my standard grade, higher and advanced higher music performance. I have just started my M.Eng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and am really looking forward to playing along with such experienced players in the SUBB.
