I have recently 'found' jazz after having
studied classical trombone at Det Jydske Musikkonservatorium, in Denmark,
where I lived for 3 years. As a classical trombonist I've played in many
orchestras and ensembles throughout the years - including Aarhus Symfoniorkester,
Randers Kammerorkester, and many more student ensembles. As a youth, I
played with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland for several years, and
am reguarly invited back to perform with NYOS Futures, their contemporary
music ensemble. I have worked in the theatre on shows such as
'Futurology' (National Theatre of Scotland/Suspect Culture), 'They Shoot
Horses, Don't They?' (Citizens' Theatre), 'Oliver!' (Perth Theatre),
'Copacabana' (Falkirk Youth Theatre), 'The Threepenny Opera' (Theatre
Workshop) Currently I am studying for a degree in Computer
Science at Strathclyde University. |
